Darrin White is the President and COO of Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurants. He holds extensive operating experience in both company owned and franchised operated restaurants including Full Service, Family Dining and QSR. Prior to joining Frisch’s, he was the President and COO of Ruby Tuesdays where he led all Franchise and Company owned operations for the 700+ unit system. White was the Fractional COO for The Captains Boil Restaurants, a boiled seafood chain based in Toronto, Canada. During White’s tenure, the brand experienced significant growth as unit-level revenues doubled and franchise owners saw record sales growth. People development, franchisee collaboration and creating ‘Results Oriented’ culture are the foundations of his leadership style. White has also held various leadership roles at Restaurant Management Services and NRD Holdings throughout his career. He is a Mentor for the GLEAM Network, a non-profit, volunteer network that provides mentorship and leadership development to the underserved in foodservice.
